HydroScrub® Jetting
Hydro jetting is typically used for drain cleaning services because the machine produces high-pressure water jets to blast away clog-causing debris. We also combine it with environmentally-friendly cleaning products that contain friendly bacteria that consume organic components, unlike corrosive chemical products.
However, hydro jetting is also helpful in some sewer line repair situations, such as tree root invasions. The high-pressure jets can cut through roots and push them out of the pipe, which is necessary to carry out the next step of structural pipe lining.
Pipe Lining
This trenchless method of sewer repair or sewer line replacement is a non-invasive, highly effective technique for sealing up cracks, gaps, and other issues on a buried sewer line. A "sleeve" or liner saturated with epoxy resin is inserted into the pipe and pressed against the line's interior with an inflatable tube. When the epoxy cures and hardens, the inflatable tube is removed, and the pipe essentially has a new line inside it that is durable and long-lasting.
Pipe Bursting
On the other hand, hydraulic bursting involves drilling a couple of access holes. We’ll use hydraulic power to break the damaged sewer pipe section and pull out the small pieces through one access hole and through the other one, we’ll pull a brand-new sewer replacement section into place. This may be your preferred method if the damage is more severe.
